About
A warehouse first,
an exporter second.
Jamie Supply is run out of a family beauty-supply wholesaler in Changsha, Hunan. The business sells trolleys, stools, treatment furniture, linen and consumables to Chinese salons and spas — 1,350 active lines, every day, since 2008.

800 m² of our own floor, inside a 2,000 m² family supply complex.
Our own floor is about 800 m². It sits inside a 2,000 m² beauty-supply complex run by the wider family, and we can source across all of it — which is why the range we can quote is wider than the range we stock ourselves. There is a sample room, and you are welcome to come and open the boxes yourself.
You will be dealing with me
Jamie Zhang
I spent six years inside this business — purchasing, logistics, customer service, and building its online storefronts. Before that I studied business at Simon Fraser University in Canada and worked as a developer. In 2022 I started and still run a separate self-service venue in Changsha, which has been profitable every year since it paid back its investment.
I mention the last one only because it is the honest version of what I bring: I have run a small business where the numbers had to work, and I know this product category from the buying side rather than the selling side.
You will deal with me directly. I write my own emails, I go to the factories, and if something goes wrong you will hear it from me before you hear it from your freight forwarder.
English and Mandarin. Changsha is UTC+8 — same working day as Australia and New Zealand, and we answer UK morning email before the UK wakes up.

Things you would
otherwise have to ask.
Are you a factory?
No. We are a wholesaler with direct relationships to the factories that supply us. We will tell you which plant makes a line if you ask, and you are welcome to visit it with us.
Are you a trading agent?
We take the order, we invoice you, and we are accountable for what arrives. Call that what you like — the practical difference is that there is one company responsible when a shipment is short.
Why not go direct to the factory?
For a single high-volume line, you probably should, and we will say so. We are worth having when you need several categories in one container, when you need someone to inspect, or when the factory does not speak English.
How new is the export side?
New. The warehouse dates from 2008; exporting from it does not. We would rather you know that than find out later. What is not new is the product knowledge and the factory access.
Come and see it.
If you are ever sourcing in China, Changsha is a couple of hours from Guangzhou by train. We will meet you at the station and take you to the factories.
